1. yes the artwork of emancipation indicates mental illness. u dont seek freedom until u realise ur sick.

2. fanatacism is a form of mental illness. refer to dictionary meaning : to excess or extreme . indicates imbalance. anything imbalanced is sick. balance is health. justice is health.

shall we continue.... ?

i'm more than happy to be all y'alls performing monkey if u can handle where the story will lead. cool

You can tell a lot by someones art or even the choices they make to create a cover, photograh, collage, etc. of course some of it subjective based on the observers perspective. But there are archatypes that we as a collective conscience can idntify with. So I tend to agree that something can be read into cover art or any art for that matter.

True, but he didn't paint Emancipation. I'm sure he had creative control, but I don't think it's exactly a product of his mind.

Do you think Prince would not have at least 95% input, as to what went on his covers even if he did not think of all of it himself. I'm saying the choices we make also speak loudly.

Like I said, I'm sure he had creative control (100% of it). But that's very different than being the artist who actually creates the photo when you're talking about diagnosing mental illness.

yes, if he'd chosen to picture himself fucking a sheep, I might question the composition and his decision making. I can question it based on his music, too. But another artist made the cover.

I'm not agreeing that I think Prince is mentally ill, because that is what someone else saw in the art work. That is where it is subjective.

That's an interesting mental imgage you have given me. Maybe we need to base mental health on peoples choices of comparison. lol

I'm just joking with you. really.

Exactly what "art" images are we talking about?

The cover? What about the cover is so "mentally ill"?

Are we talking because it looks as though Prince's hands being the hands breaking the chains?

breaking the chains so to speak?

News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I'd say those are more tacky and not very artistic more than the product of a sick mind.
