Is Prince Bipolar/Manic depressive?

There is no way someone can be this much of a genius and so talented and not have something wrong with their mind. And what was the song "My little pill" about? Was that about Prince taking his medication?

He's not that bad but he has a problem commiting his emotions to anybody; that's why band members have felt like employees and girlfriends have felt he just used them for sex!

i think 'my little pill' is based on a plot point from the film 'i'll do anything'. that song was one of a few that prince had recorded for the film's soundtrack, though they wound up not using the songs.

GASP! You mean to tell me that not all of Prince's lyrics/songs are autobiographical? That's crazy talk!

I always thought that he has ADD or something like that because he gets bored easily and he jumps from one project to another without completing them. But bipolar, I dont know about that.

Hmmm...no I don't think so...he seems like he might have some problems with depression though...but highly intelligent, senstive people are kinda prone to this....he seems like he might have some form of ADD though...he kinda remindes me of a hyperactive kid...but who knows....he just strikes me as someone who is very emotionally immature though.

Absolutely not. Individuals who are bipolar spend their lives dealing with their illness. Even when stabilized on meds, it's getting thru each day and taking the meds required to keep some semblence of normalilty. What is a common occurance is pts feel better so they think they don't need the medication and stop taking it.There's no indication P is "unstable." He may have taken a few "uppers" in his day....(rumor, not fact)

Bi-Polar is a serious mental illness.

Granted, it's manic phases can contribute to creativity, but Bi-Polar can be very debilitating.

Well over 50% of those with Bi-Polar commit suicide.

Are you saying that being musically talented and being unstable go together?
I don't think it is about an anti-depressant. Prince could be referring about anything. He likes using metaphors.

It's possible to detect mental illness in people you don't know and you don't have to be a psychiatrist either. I'm sure you've seen mentally ill people that you don't know personally, haven't you?.

And no, Prince is not bi-polar.

YOU THINK EVERYONE IS NORMAL!
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.
