What does the live version of this song sound like in concert? Is it performed quickly or does the song include an instrumental like jam like the end of the studio version? He played the song in it's entirety up to 1982 or so. After that, it was usually the first verse and chorus, then the intrumental portion followed by Head from the Dirty Mind album.In recent years he usually played it(first verse and chorus only) on either a piano or acoustic guitar.
