Do you understand how hard it is nowadays to suprise people on T.V.?? How many leaked suprise performances were planned but everyone knew before? Enimem & Elton John for instance. Every year, they try to have a suprise performance but it gets leaked. Not this time. How was it done? You guys knew but were still not expecting it. No one outside of the Prince community had ANY idea. NONE! Not even people who work 4 American Idol or the Kodak knew. How incredible is that? Not one leak. Just someone giving u a hint to watch Idol 2night but not even saying he was going to def be on. Wow! Silence Speaks A Thousand Words. | |

Jeez, six pages have appeared on threads when only a short while ago there was only one! Anyway, I'm not going to wade through all the pages to see if this is posted or not, but for UK viewers the American Idol finale is shown on ITV2 at 8.30pm on Friday. I think it is also repeated later on Sunday on ITV1 but I don't have a tv guide that far. | |

the one time the poor man's makeup isnt damn near perfect and everyone jumps on him. i agree it looked like he fell asleep in a tanning bed. regardless, he had the prime spot. if anyone is going to watch this piece of shit show at any point, it was right then. he's got clout...still.  | |

Thank you jseven you seem to always know what you are talking about when it comes to Prince. Great show by Prince ppl. All I know is my 59 year old father who is NOT really a Prince fan heard the host(Ryan) say "Well there are no more suprises tonight..." and then saw Prince's enterance started jumping up and down!....Then I came in and started jumping up and down with him! WOW what a shocker I didnt think hed be on! My father even said he believed Ryan when he said "There are no more suprises tonight..." which made Prince even more exciting! WHAT A SHOW!

the pros: anytime i get to see prince on tv is cool by me. it ain't so bad that 50 million peeps saw him too! and does this mark the first tv performance supporting the new record? maybe he hasn't given up on 3121 after all...
the cons: not the hottest performance our guy has ever given. the band was off, prince's voice was a little questionable, and the make-up? it was like return of the night of the living lovesexy tourbook cover! | |
