I've seen him numerous times with less then 50 and maybe as few as 20. I still stand by my point that if this was the most exciting day in your life your life lacks. I'm not trying to say this wouldn't be very very very exciting but I personally feel bad if this was as good as it gets for me. It's a concert....hopefully the best concert they will ever get to go to....but a concert just the same. I guess it also depends on how Prince acts. If he spends some time with the people and makes them feel welcome or if he hides behind security and just plays a few songs and leaves. [Edited 5/6/06 15:35pm] | |

Tangerine's post on HQ: Well I just got back from the 3121 party (invited, not a winner). amazing night. To hear Joy In Repetition played live 3 feet away from me was quite sweet. And Kiss, 3121, Lolita, Black Sweat/Love, Satisfied, Fury (stopped in the middle saying "I'm in too good of a mood to play this song right now" and went into "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", housequake, purple rain, let's go crazy, etc.. etc.. There were TWO shows, one with Tamar and after an hour or less a "Prince & The NPG" full show. Amazing. Jada Pinkett Smith dancing her ass off behind Prince on stage...next to me: Jude Law, Thandie Newton, Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker-REALLY ENJOYING HIMSELF! the list goes on. bedtime.

C'mon.... i didn't even want to go to my college graduation, so i didn't. i just wanted to be done with it. my family has always placed a high value on music - my mom was a musician, and my grandparents were musicians. my mom saw hendrix and the beatles and the who back in the '60s and she saw zappa tons of times - to this day she says those were some of the most remarkable times of her life. i feel the same way about some of the shows i've seen, and i also feel that way about the small period of time in which i was in a band. maybe music isn't as important to other people and they can't understand why it's important to others of us. and that's okay. i won't judge the value of their experiences if they'll extend the same courtesy to me. | |

sorry i went on abit thee, and went away from subject, but i love prince, i always have. but he says in hes interviews "Its to easy to sit at a computer and load a few samples on and make song" .....But hes doing it himself!!! when will he see that theres no talent in drum machines and things like Ejay???? ----- What in the world are you talking about????  | |

Excuse me, but what is the Lord's glory are you talking about? You contradicted yourself in your own paragraph. Prince has a 30 year career span, yet you say he usually dissapoints, yet you say you love him and you manage to log on a fan website for someone who "usually dissapoints" as you have stated. What's with this contradictions. You state he does not bother to use instruments on two songs, but then you list three examples of songs where do uses all instruments, most of which he plays all by himself by the way. What more do you want? You are a perfect examples of the so-called "fans" who's main purpose is to log on just to bitch and hate hate hate on Prince.
