I feel stupid because I don't know that much about Prince's music and I haven't even heard 3121 because I got a lot going on and I haven't got time to go and buy it. What do y'all think? Should I get out of here?

Youre not alone! there are plenty of people on here who dont know much about him, or dont even like him as much as others. Venture out of this forum and come meet people in the others, like music non prince, or general discussion! we are a friendly bunch

Just be warned though, once you get hooked on Prince, there's no turning back...

first off, what prince albums do you own?
if you only have purple rain and sign o the times, try some of the albums released around the same time, like 1999, around the world in a day, batman, then try diamonds and pearls and the albums.
the reason i started with those, is you should be able to find them in your local second hand shops very cheap. then base a decision on buying a new album, but in my oppinion 3121 is the best prince album in about a decade.
i think you should buy it.....
