But I have to say the best ten seconds in any Prince song is this. And I don't mean its my favorite. It is just one of those moments where anyone, prince fan or not feels it. The ten seconds is 3:40 to 3:50 of Purple Rain. Especially live . The feeling comes out so well. P said it best on the 2004 Musicoloy tour L.A. show opening night. After 7 he says thank you to the crowd and then the band plays the intro to Purple Rain and P says with heart felt feeling: "I love playing this song!"
For me those ten seconds get me everytime.
