Sorry but I am tired of all The Rainbow Children WORSHIPPERS.....Yeah I liked it but overall 3121 is truly a Prince album and funkier than hell!

ABSOLUTELY no comparison.

TRC is a masterpiece.

3121 is utterly flawed.

I guess it depends upon one's taste n music but 4 me TRC is a far superior effort. Musically, there is no comparison...his playing is much better on TRC. 3121 is a nice "poppy" effort but TRC displays more musicianship. TRC will mos def get more rotations in my player over the long run.

3121 wins over The Rainbow Children quite easily for me. While I like The Rainbow Children, I just can't listen to it as a whole.

While 3121 is much less experimental, I find it much more listenable.

Since the day of its release, every time I've listened to TRC, I have NEVER skipped a track. TRC is still, IMO, Prince's most compelling and brilliant work since Lovesexy.

I've had 3121 for two days now, and I've skipped "Incense and Candles" a couple of times, and even found myself skipping past "Te Amo Corazon" a few times to get to "Black Sweat." To me, with an album this short, that's not a good thing.

The Rainbow Children, despite the constant whining about the supposed Darth Vader voice, is the best thing he's done this decade thus far.
