As I've written in another thread I really don't like that there are copies out there, but I guess it's always like that. I'm a virgin and proud of it!! But now there're not many days left...

On the other hand, MJ himself made the statement that he got a nose job to help him sing higher (in the infamous 2003 televised interview by Martin Bashir). So it was a lot easier to connect Prince's lyric directly to MJ.

i decided NOT to hunt out the leaked album. i'm gonna wait til it comes out. and guess what? it's gonna be far more of a thrill to get the album as it was intended to sound, in one big blast of uncompressed, high quality new music. 's'called delayed gratification, people.

trust me, it's better this way. don't worry 'bout the ones who already know every track backwards. we've got it to look forward to.

Ive been a fan for (too) many tears..and as always I am counting down the days until the WRECKA STOW opens for me to grab my new music as they are still unpacking it.

Cant access the download and dont care. Im perfectly fine waiting.

Everything you read about it is true. It's not great, it's not a classic. It's just as good as Musicology but the music is a different animal. I like it better personnaly - I think it sounds edgier than Musiclogy and the songs will stay with you longer. The songs are good, to very good, but I couldn't find any great tracks! That's basically what everyone has been saying. One orger even compares it to the New Power Soul album - LOL.

I think the song - 3121 is a stand out song - he usues the Camile (Shokadeliac & Housequake) voice and it sounds like something that could have been on 1999.

i think it'll just sound better when i actually have the album in my hands. i mean, wrap me in palm leaves and roast me on a spit but i still think the best way to experience a prince piece is the total album experience. the glossy cover, shiny plastic wrapping. pulling away the tear strip.... pop! opening it up and there's the cover art/booklet with pics and lyrics.... and the fresh plastic smell. then putting the disc in the slot and zooom. 1019181716151413121

I want to know what the real big deal is about hearing it before anyone else? We are all going to hear it. (those of us who want to) Did any of you make any contributions to Prince himself? Did any of you get paid to listen to it first? NO... just greed that's the bottom line.

Strange as it may seem...even with me obtaining a copy a few weeks early and playing the mf endlessly, I'm STILL excited about its official release and looking forward to buying a copy.
