Seeing how I can understand what he's saying, I wouldn't say it's much like Dylan. The live version seems Hendrix, but the studio is early Prince...like Annie Christian. | |

You guys are mixing up the LORE of Bob Dylan with the REALITY of Bob Dylan's music.
Yes, this sounds like something that Dylan could have laid down. The diction on the lyrics has that Dylan edge to it. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

the funny thing is when i first heard it "Hurricane" was the first song that came into my mind.
Some of it speaks Dylan to me. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I actually do see what you mean, the diction and flow are quite similar to Dylan's mid-late 70s groove, as well as the topic of the lyrics. | |

I can see both Hendrix and Dylan in Fury, but Dylan was a huge influence on Hendrix and Prince and every other artist of the last few decades. Just like Prince has been a huge influence on every musician since the 80's. | |
