Prince on MTV shock!! Yes, there I was watching SEAL unplugged on VH1 last night (a very poor substitute for the unplugged set you celebs got from the main man a few nights back, I'm sure), idly hoping I might catch a glimpse of one of the Melvoin girls when finally boredom made me switch to MTV and there she was (WENDY)recieving that little kiss from Prince just after his last OOh OOh OOh OOOh on Purple Rain.
So, yes I only caught the end of the song, but boy did I enjoy it (sad, I know). And why were they playing it? Top ten at ten = colours. I think he was in at No. 5. MJ pipped him to No.2 or 3 with Black or White proving once again that in all the polls that matter he really is the King of pop! Incidentally, Pink was at No.1 | |
