I just heard that remix / cover version of "I Would Die 4 U" when I was in HMV at lunch time. They stuck pretty closely to the original actually ... I mean, I hate ALL cover versions of Prince songs including this one but I was surprised at how contemporary the track sounds now that it's been given a "splash of paint".

Anyone heard it yet?

Yeah, I heard it on local Scottish radio in the early hours of Sunday morning, coming home from a night out.

I don't like it, but it's better than most Prince covers.

I'd like to think it'd get more people listening to Prince, but I'll be surprised if anyone mentions he did the original even if it does well in the charts.

I just looked on HMV.co.uk and I think it's by someone called The Space Cowboy !!
