a friend of mine who works as a stewardes, ask some people in two recordstores in the u.s. and canada too, to get the One Nite Alone CD. the u.s. based store sayed that it`s available but sold out at the moment?

is this true? where can i buy the cd?

Lets be honest here, we would not be surprised, would we now.

I haven't seen it here in MN. I went to Sam Goody yesterday and they have a pretty large Prince section, imports and all. But no ONA.

A few copies may show up at the DJ's Emporium(a local record store)-P has let them exclusively sell unofficial releases a few times before.

I would hope it would be a good thing that Prince eventually releases any npgmc release in stores, months after the members get copies...it's a good CD, i'd like other people to hear it too.

I've had the "It's sold out at the moment" response before to things I know damn well have never been released.
Some stores say this when they can't find something on their system (or can't be bothered to look).

It often translates as "I don't know what you're talking about, but I don't wanna appear like I don't, so I'll just say it's sold out, cuz I know we haven't got it".
