I'm a member. Fan since 1983. Can't get enough of his music. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but then again, she is obsessed with the Eagles. So, I guess we know who has the musical taste in this relationship, eh?

Based in the UK, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for a UK tour - I've attended an aftershow (Emporium) and am hoping to get to a soundcheck if/when Prince arrives!

Since it seems we r telling how long we have been a fan, let me add too.

I cant remeber a time in my life that I wasnt a Prince fan. I grew up just outside of Detriot. I remeber from the time I was a little girl, just in elementary school, listening to a DJ called MoJo almost everynight. (I was a funky kid....that grew to b a funky woman) Ya see, MoJo loved Prince and his music and played it all the time. I heard tunes from the first few albums thanks to that great DJ. Tunes from "Prince" & "For u". Then later "Controversy" & "Dirty Mind." I was eat up with the music way back then, way before purple rain! I think I was about 12 yrs old when purple rain came out. Didnt see my first show until I was in high school..."Lovesexy". By then I was very well aquainted with the artist!! Thru the yrs I have never strayed from the man, the music, the messeges. I call myself a lifetime fan. He is always the ultimate to me, my fav. However, I dont collect bootlegs and dont have a huge musical library, (even tho it is fairly large). Prince was truly been a large part of my entire life, from childhood listening to MoJo..."when ur reaching the end of ur rope, dont fall off, tie a knott.....the mother ship has landed....."


So, thats the short of my story.....

I'm a member, didn't join 'till the 5th edition, wanted to see how it went first, then bought the previous copies seperately. I think it's been very good value, wish they'd kept it like it was really, you never knew what you were going to get but mostly it was great.

Been a fan since mid-eighties. Hey, I saw an Emporium aftershow too! And the one at the Hippodrome, when I used to live in London, if he tours there again I'll have to travel the 200 miles down from Leeds to see him this time...doh!

NPGMC premium member here....just got my comp about 1 1/2 years ago, so i wasn't in the download mix for awhile.
Detroit soundcheck was worth my 100 dollars for the year.
Can't wait for the CD's to start rollin in.

not much of a benefit this time as i live in the UK. I was hoping there would be some videos or something in the members retail, but so far im disappointed by it.

I was very satisfied with last year and I'm looking forward to the CD's this time round.

Like you Phil, I live in the UK. I was told via e-mail by NPGMC that there will be some new retail soon.

I'm a member. I just joined about 3 weeks ago, because I could'nt bear the thought of not owning one of his officially released CDs. I didn't join last year because I'm not crazy about downloads (at least when they are just as easy to get elsewhere for free). I know it's bad, but that's the way it goes. At least I'm on the good side now. Besides, hopefully, he'll come to North Carolina and I can attend a soundcheck and then the 100 dollars will be more than justified. For 4 CDs alone it is a tad steep.

I dont know how u get the persale password and I dont know were u have 2 go 2 get the persale password I am very puzzled about this. I would love 2 see him in conert this year becuase I only seen him in concert one time in 98 and I dont know if this is his last year of concerts.

Can someone email me or something about how u get the persale password it would help alot please
