Club member since it's inception. Also member of other fan clubs run by Prince, and fan since Soft and Wet. I first saw Prince on Friday, Dec. 11, 1981 at the 7:30 show at the Arie Crown Theater in McCormick Place in Chicago, the Controversy Tour, and the first with the Time opening. Prince opened with "Sexuality". Like many other R&B acts now and at the time, he played two shows that night, one at 7:30 and one at 10:30. I've seen every full U.S. tour since, and three after shows, two in Chicago and one in Grand Rapids.

I joined for Year 2. I was pleasantly surprised to get Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic in the mail, and I can't wait to hear all the new material. I've been a fan since I heard "When Doves Cry" on the radio in '84. I've collected all of Prince's albums and the lion's share of the singles (still looking for the Hit 'N' Run singles, though, if anyone can help me out). I avoid bootlegs, but I sure wish he'd put out another Crystal Ball set with emphasis on material from '85-'88. My main interest in his music these days is lyrical analysis. I lurk on the .org all the time, but rarely post. Has anyone heard any reliable membership figures for the Music Club?

I was NPGMC member for Year1 , Year 2 is very near ... It's only a question of days. See U'all in the other side of the pillow ...

my husband called and asked what name and password i use for my prince stuff and i told him, then I got an email saying I was all set up in the club. It was for my B-Day!
I've been in love with Prince since I was about 12 first song I remeber hearing and knowing it was Prince is the Beautiful Ones. I'm a crazy in love type fan.

I've been a member since 2/2001. It has been a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I got REALLY GREAT tickets to last years ""Hit 'N Run" concert and the MP3" and videos are awesome! I am looking foward to "One Night Alone w/ Prince" I am hoping for GREAT SEATS again!

Are we only supposed to answer if the answer's yes? If so, count me out. I paid the monthly all through 2001 but I'm not convinced $100.00 is worth it. Yet.

I am a long time (pre Purple Rain) fan who only joined this year because the download idea was nixed in favour of mailing out actual CDs.

Hi, I am a NPGMC member and huge fan 4 almost 20 years!!He inspires me daily. I just saw the show in Louisville, wow and the soundcheck was a life dream come true. I stood next 2 Him and sang "Last December" He is so wonderful and the coolest man on the planet!! peace and love4oneanother!

I am a first year NPGMC member. I have been a fan since 1990, attended 8 regular shows and one aftershow so far. Can't hardly wait to see the " One Nite Alone" show in Europe.

I joined THE CLUB for the concert perks this year. Worth every penny to chat with Prince at the sound check. His desire to relate and interact with his FAM. is truly admirable. I've been a fam since "Prince", with the exception of a few b-sides I have all of his music. His career has made a tremendous impact on my spiritual life. I consider him to be one of the most talented prophets of all time (watch out David.) The Louisville show was the closet thing to Heaven I've experienced in this phsical plane.
