Been into Prince since 1984, where I promised myself I would purchase every album that went to # 1 on the Billboard Chart (I was 14). After PURPLE RAIN, I was hooked and continued to buy every album that came out. Prince was the first artist that ever made me think deeply about issues of sex and sprituality. It was as I got older that I truly started to appreciate his brilliant artistry as a musician.

Iam a member since day one. The soundchecks and front row seat to three of the seven concerts I went to, is worth more than a 100 dollars.

My addiction 2 his music began in 1989. Batman was released and a friend of mine bought the LP, I liked the music so much, I asked him 2 tape the LP 4 me. I was addicted 2 the record... My g/f had the tape 2 Purple Rain and I borrowed it from her, wow what music, I watched the Purple Rain movie and became even further excited about the music. Then 1 day I was in our local record store and I saw this tape with this naked man on it, it was prince , LoveSexy. I bought he record and wow this was so different, wanted more and more and within a year I bought all official cd's (and my first cd-player lol). my first concerts in June 1990 (Nude tour) and Wham Bam I was a major fan, started collecting everything I could get my hands on, his lp's, tapes, cd's, boots, vids u name it . And 2 this day I'm still a very avid collector but not only Prince, he opened the door 4 me 2 explore all sorts of music, now I'm a dj and truly enjoy music...

BTW: dammit eye missed the Trojan Horse aftershow, cuz at that time we dídn´t know he would do aftershows..

Was decorating one day, it was boring. Sent my husband to get the Diamonds and Pearls CD, "like the look of him, wonder if he sounds as good".

NPGMC Premium Member since day one. Have been a fan since Controversy. Living here in Australia we don't get to see him much. Only the one tour wich was 10 years ago. But have kept up with all the releases and information.
