Phase used twice once in 1981 and again 2001, an even 20 years. Sexuality and The Rainbow Children are obviously very two different songs and very two different albums, 20 years apart.Why do U think Prince used this Phase in these songs in Particular? let's look at the phrasing and grammar.....
1981 Reproduction of a new breed -- Leaders, Stand Up, Organize Reproduction of a new breed -- Leaders, Stand Up, Organize Reproduction of a new breed -- Leaders, Stand Up, Organize If these lyrics are accurate, I see it as the birth of of a new breed of thinking, a new attitude, maybe a prelude to the new power generation. 2001 Reproduction of the new breed leader Stand up and organize! Reproduction of the new breed leader Stand up and organize! Again, I think Prince has the same message as he did 20 years earlier, but note the dropping of the letter "S" off of the word leader. I think this is simply Prince's way of recognizing that there are not a bunch of leaders (plural) as in politicians, but only one leader (singular) as in God. I always feel like he is calling for a change. Maybe in peoples attitude. Like 'Come on, get your act together...'
