I finally just bought it because I couldn't find anywhere to rent it and it wasn't that bad. I didn't like the Love Machine scene at all! The sets were ehhh, but other than that, it's an ok movie.

What does everyone else think?

I know there have been a bunch of threads on this already, but I wanted to start one anyway.

Its sucks like a Hoover. Seriously, if it weren't for the musical performances, it would be pointless to even drag out this crap-fest.

the worst out of his four movies, Morris Day is the only good part of the Movie.

This movie is worse than showgirls. Prince could have just made a documentary making Grafitti Bridge. Hindsight is 20/20 for an artist though. So on with the show.

That would have been acclaimed movie though.

This movie is almost as bad as Air Bud.

Well, of course the movie lacks lotsa things : the plot lacks coherance, the acting is often weak, etc... Though, i happen 2 really love this movie, it has something that i find very poetic, the directing has some really good ideas, & the atmosphere of the whole thing is somewhat really mystical, really pleasant, if not hypnotic...

Prince was beautiful in this movie, though. But did anyone notice how Prince never kissed Aura?

Graffiti Bridge is embarassing. But on a postive note, I did laugh a lot; too bad it wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

i really in all honesty think it was a great movie. my fave scenes are: the joy in repetition scene, the question of u scene, the aura gets kidnaped by the kid scene (precedes joy in rep. scene) and the whole club part right b4 the love machine starts.

I remember The Time being on Video Soul promoting the movie. I can recall Morris saying something like his parts were ok, but he wouldn't comment on the rest of the movie. I definately got the feeling that The Time realized that the movie wasn't good at all.

I'll at least say that Showgirls is at least campy enough to get a laugh out of it. GB isn't even campy. Its just bad.

Its colorful, fun, and entertaining
Prince is sexy, and the musical performances are great

I know I probally just lost the few cool points I had left
but this is one of my favorite movies

As a movie, Graffiti Bridge sucked big time.
I must admit, I just view it in the same way as 3 Chains O' Gold, like a
collection of videos with a loose storyline linking them together. It doesn't
seem quite as bad then

it was the worst movie that p could have ever been in directing composing or anthing else for that matter if it were not for the good music then it would be a total bore fest it is 2 sad 4 me and i hate dramas and movies with unintentionall killing.
