Would have to agree. The song has certainly grown on me. The vocals are strong throughout with some passion, building up to the scream at the end. I do not, however, like the breakdown in the middle which throws me off every time. It kills me how he takes a cohesive rock or dance song and throws in a weird breakdown that momentarily takes all momentum from the groove. Sometimes he recovers (Million Days, Love to the 9s) and sometimes he doesn't (Sun, Moon, and Stars).

I concur.
I still play that song. My second is Dr MAN and then Cinnamon girl. [Edited 5/25/05 10:15am]

I can't stand Cinnamon Girl.
The rest of the songs rank about equally for me. Solid group of songs that make a good album.

I enjoy 'A Million Days'. My favorite lyric on that song is..."I'd crawl on my belly and beg you, but you're so far away..." It's Tee-Jay at Pfams.com!!!

I'm obsessed with prince SO MUCH-but A Million Days is his only good song on Musicology. I love at the end when he says "Come home baby..."-drives me insane! Prince says my name in one of his songs. In Little Red Corvette, he says, "Liz is on the verge of being obscene" Ha, ha, just kidding. But seriously.

It's my favorite song on the album for sure. Yes, it isn't the most original song on the album, but Musicology has an entire theme of revisiting the past. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

My favorite is The Marrying Kind, then Dear Mr. Man. MK for the heavy rock, Mr. Man as a very laid back Marvin-Gaye.."What's going On?" RB groove. "Remember, one man's filler is another man's killer" -- Haystack
