Of course there is. That's why he likes people to know the celebrities and bigshots he associates with. That's why it pisses him off when people don't appreciate his musical output to the degree he feels they should (I agree with this on the level that people should appreciate Prince's music over a lot of the other dreck that's out there). This is purely armchair psychology on my part and I admit it, but I truly feel that Prince's "big ego", his control issues, his hangups and proclivities regarding women, and a few other things say that Prince has major, lifelong, and really deep seated self-esteem issues. Back back to the photos/paparazzi thing specifically: imo, Prince loves & craves that he's considered "star" enough and interesting enough by the public that they care enough to want his picture; he hates that he can't always control WHEN that will happen or the circumstances. I'm hardly a "newbe" (newbie?). I've been into the whole Prince thing for over 20 years so I am very aware of Prince's past in relation to interviews/publicity/etc.

The funny thing is even if there exists just a few photos of Prince in Panama we have already linked him romantically with the former Miss Panama, his fall of the JW religion and the matrimony with his wife and a new latin-oriented direction in his music!
Seriously, for all we know he might just been there for a couple of days of vacation. | |

The famous Panamanian musical group, the Rabanes, rule out that they are the ones who will participate in the video being filmed in Panama by the American artist, Prince, because they will be in a series of presentations in Nicaragua during the days of filming.
