yup, and here is one for all you armchair psychiatrist, I am on the tail end of vacation this week, and getting bored. I am on prince.org so often, many fave threads don't even get a chance to get any new replies.

Doesn't anyone here know how the tabloids work? They make up shit. Sometimes its true, sometimes it isn't. In this case it isn't.

Why would Prince want badpublicity? When he's on top of his game? C'mon. Yes all celebritieswant to control their image but they are not gonna put out they were divas at restaurants. Only tabloids who need to fill up space in their blurbs will take a stab at making up a "scenario" that can be easily overlooked.

He needs publicity since he does not have a record label to do it for him but, I don't see the overkill that a lot of celebrities have with PR.

If you guys would take the time to read once in a while instead of just trying to beat me down you would see my point. I don't think Prince is anymore self-centered or arrogant than any other celebrity.

Other celebrities hide their behavior better than he does and once again if you trying to be on the downlow you don't want your picture taken.

I still think Prince wants PR on his own terms. You are not going to convince me otherwise. And there is nothing wrong with that. But it is what it is.

i work in the business, so thanks for the tip. this is not great PR. they are trying to characterize prince as a diva when he really isn't. that's the point i was trying to make. nothing else.

That's weird, cuz people - wellknown and unknowns - have stated for YEARS that Prince is *often* a real diva/dickhead to be around and to work for or to wait on. I'm sure he can ALSO be a great guy to be around, but you saying the tabloids are the ones trying to paint Prince as a "diva" when he's really not, is rather hilarious considering that it's no secret Prince often exhibits divaesque behavior.
