Two things, since Ruben bLades has become the person in charge of Tourism in Panama, he has been inviting alot of his famous friends down there. Ruben ad Prince are cool.
Also, Panama has one of the largest JW temples and following in Panama City,people from all over the world go to see it which perhaps explain his reason for being down there.

Or perhaps, he is down there doing his thing but I doubt it, too public.

First, he's having all these house parties in Beverly Hills, and making it a point to emphasize the number 3121, and now he's shooting a video in Panama with local musicians. Could this finally be the musical odyssey that we fans have been begging for? Could he finally be getting the chance to deliver the album that will top Purple Rain even in the die hards eyes? Anything seems to be possible this year.

Music wise, Panama has a huge jazz scene and it s called TAMBO JAZZ. A combination of panamanian clave(keys) with Jazz. Check out folks like Danilo Perez, Mauricio Smith, Victor Paz, etc

I wonder if he checked out the Canal. It's one of man's greatest accomplishments (according to the Discovery Channel anyways)....
