i think you can do it with something simple like Nero, though i don't know HOW it's done...i'm sure it's easy. i just don't have a lot of experience with music editors. there are tracked versions of lovesexy out there, you know. the german import is tracked. just do some snooping around online and you're bound to find a copy at a decent price.

I did it to LoveSexy.
If you have Roxio, you can use Roxio 6 to do it with. The program is called Audio Central. YOu basically load it into AudioCentral and rightclick the audio file, select "Edit Audio". It brings up an Audio/Wave editor at which point you can insert "track markers" Note: Roxio 7 drops the "AudioCentral" feature for reasons beyond my comprehension. Nero 6 has a great audio suite that you can do it with--and it beats the hell out of Roxio in stability.

Is it the OEM version or did you buy it? The OEM version lacks a really cook feature called SoundTrax--it allows you to blend songs together in a mix CD. Roxio has a version of this, but I'm discusted they dropped AudioCentral for the stupid Napster interface, that I ain't buying that shit no mo.

I haven't really needed the SounTrax feature becuase I'm listening to music on my mp3 player now, so a mix CD doesn't help.

Gawd. There's a cool feature in Nero that allows you to fade in and out those tracks when you burn the to MP3. So it sounds like the song has a biggening and and end instead of that choppy effect.

You can use CD Wave editor
http://www.milosoftware.c...index.html It is very simple, you have to rip your music from your cd as a .wav and then this program will open it up. Whey you burn you new audio cd with the tracks, remember to click the track-at-once option to remove the 2 second gap to keep the tracks flowing properly.

Bountyhunterseven, i have a better suggestion, dont waste too much time on tracking this cd on your pc.
In every recordstore in Europe you can find the tracked version of Lovesexy. Untill i visited this site, i even didnt know the original version was non-tracked. Try some european marketplace on the Net (Like Amazon.co.uk) to get it. Easy and simple

The Lovesexy CDs sold in Danish stores are still the onetrack version.
I have Nero too and absolutely no idea how to use it properly, either. There ain't no usermanual. Now, cutting songs at the end or fading them out at the end - no problem. But for some inexplicable reason, I can't get it to cut at the beginning of tracks, much less track a track. I'd love a tracked Lovesexy but don't feel like buying an album I've already paid for twice - first vinyl, then CD. Whoever thought of doing Lovesexy as a one-track CD should just DIE. Sure, it was cute at first, but when you wake up with Positivity in your head and just want to play that one song... FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

Sure, it was cute at first, but when you wake up with Positivity in your head and just want to play that one song... i just bought nero recently too, and i was so bewildered by the music editor stuff that i broke down and bought "the book of nero" at my local bookstore. it's the only guide i could find published, and it's really not SUPER great as a user's guide, but it at least gives you enough confidence to know how to get your feet wet with all the bells and whistles. i'm having some problems saving my edited tracks to my hard drive. other than that, i'm liking the CD burning software and the labelling application. supposedly you can split tracks with nero - there's even an auto detect for silence between songs - but i haven't messed with that yet.

I highly recommend Pyro by Cakewalk for doing anything with music. Tracking, editing, remaster eq...anything is easy. Also, you can record any streaming music. You can play any file and record it at the same time to get rid of that copy protection. But maybe the others mentioned will work as well. [Edited 4/22/05 7:07am]

Yeah, I got Nero, too. I just use it to make Audio CDs and VCDs, and thats it. I dont know about nothing else about Nero. I've tried to use that wave-editing feature a few times to shorten songs so that they'd it on the CD, but Nero would somtimes crash. I use Cool Edit for editing audio anyway.
