The best thing about Prince is if you dont like an album, within about a year, he will have a another one 
Prince is amazing! usually to stuff you dont like when you first hear, when you wait a few years.. you will be into it. IF you hear him do it live in concert, there is no doubt you will like it | |

Prince at his best was a bit avant garde - Parade, Around The World, Sign O The Times....
You won't take the jazz out of Prince, he even plays 'Footprints' live these days! He has always had a little Jazz in his music, even back in the Purple Rain days the 12 inch mixes were full of little jazz moments/breaks. I certainly dug TRC Live more than seeing him with Doug E Fresh or Larry G. From what I have heard, The Musicology tour sounds far far better than anything he has done in a while. Why get stuck on TRC? He has done far worse and moved on. | |
