Averett	OMG!!! Vanity was sampled on "Orgasm"!!! I LOVE "THE VAULT"!!! Just got it as an early Christmas gift and ran across the tid bit that talks about how Vanity's moaning from "Vibrator" (unreleased Vanity 6 song) was later used on Prince's "Come" album within the song "Orgasm". So many things of true interest revealed by this fine book. I LOVE IT!!!!

Wow! I always thought that was Mayte. Thanks for posting. I think in the liner noats for "Come" he says "Partner on "Orgasm' you know who you are.." or something to that effect!

Don't trip at what everyone says. We all find things out at different times. And everybody forgets the questions they used to ask when they didn't know shit.

Supposedly, and I don't know because I wasn't there, they say that Prince included this on the COME album so that he can compensate Vanity (Denise Matthews) monetarily. She needed money for some operation. Instead of giving her charity he paid her for her work.
