ok, I'm ready 4 a new album

I have finally played out Musicology but still jamming to A Million Days.

I am ready for some new Prince music but would like him to go in a different direction (not so much old school funk and more guitar/piano/horn driven music. A few collaborations with hot artist like Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Ashanti (im kiddin - just wanted to see if U were paying attention), Amel Larrieux. Maybe a couple of radio tunes with rap pioneers like Nas, LL Cool J(im kidding, once again), or Jay Z. Something like that.

I am so done with Musicology and just ready for the next Prince experience. I guess I need to subscribe to the NPG site. Any word on new material? Thanks guys! I'm tired of talking bout Musicology, aren't we all?

lol I know how you feel. I'd like some new Prince stuff to, but considering the very busy year Prince has had, he can rest a bit first. Don't get me wrong...rest time is just about over giggle

I'd like to have something NEW not something that's been floating around for the last couple of years. I don't want Reflection on the new cd because he dropped that song months ago.

I do not want to see collaborations. I don't tend to care for them in general and REALLY don't care for Prince to be involved in them.

Only would take a couple of seconds for him to pick up the phone and say "hey, throw "insert song here" on the mixing board at the club for download for everyone". I cant see him being to busy for this, talk about a waste of a perfect distribution medium. If this was an artist that came out with an album every 3 years, and those 10 songs were the only thing they did in 3 years, and they didnt have thousands of songs in a vault on top of any new stuff lots of new unreleased stuff they have done recently, then I could understand the dry spell. But considering who we are talking about here, we are way overdue for some music. Keep the shirts, the books, the mugs, all the other non music related items that are sold in the store, and let get back to the music.

Oh don't get me wrong. I don't look at "albums" as being the same as the NPGMC.

The NPGMC IS an utter waste. It never has been utilized properly.
