The entire Rainbow Children album is a Christian album. Seriously. There are many word substitutions there in place of Biblical terminology, but it is most definitely a Christian CD.
Still Would Stand All Time is a Christian song. Of course, I would like to see Prince do some deep rooted Christian stuff like traditional Gospel/Funk, but he doesn't want to completely alienate people who absolutely stay away and close their mind to anything with the word "Christ" in it. But, I hope that people shed this stereotype. If you have listened to my music, you will see that I don't beat people upside the head with a Bible. You can be positive and give good teachings through music without offending or forcing people to believe a certain way. Peace, JD | |
