I was watching G4/Tech TV and they did this story on This event sponsored by Def Jam and Playstation 2. I believe the purpose of the function was to raise political awareness amongst the Hip-Hop generation, or something. It was hosted by Russell Simmons and it featured an assload of celebrities, including our purple hero. It looked like he was dodging the cameras and running to the event. Typical. But anyways, that was quite a surprise.
