Do you think Prince will get into the Rock'N'Roll Hall Of Fame next year? Next year Prince will be able to get into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame. It is a requirement that an artist can't get inducted until 25 years after the first album of that artist was released. That was 1978 with For You! It will be interesting to see if he gets in on his first shot.

I find it hard 2 believe that he would not be accepted into the hall of fame. He has done as much for music as anyone else that has been admitted to date. He should be able to take his place among the greats with no question.  The Mothership Connection... I think he will be inducted his first year, NO PROBLEM. Would love to see him and the Revolution play Purple Rain at the ceremony. And with Van Halen and U2 eligible next year as well, THAT could be a once in a life time jam session!!! | |

Prince may be eligible but The Revolution won't be so don't go looking for a reunion thinking everyone will be inducted. Its like Springsteen - The E Street Band has not been inducted - just Springsteen. Prince's first album wasn't Prince & The Revolution it was just Prince. The Revolution aren't old enough to be eligible for induction. | |
