I can't believe it. I'm trying to burn a Prince mix for my friend to give him a little intro or sample that him might like of Prince. He's a poppish fan, mostly asian pop music. Although me and him both love Weezer, my friend isn't too turned on to Prince. I took him to Musicology at the Staples Center, and while he was impressed by Prince's musicianship I don't know if he even listened to the Musicology giveway cd. I'm not sure how to sway him, although he did like the very best cd i gave him.

It's so hard to get only 15 to 20 songs on one cd of Prince's best stuff. And this mix is an add on to "the very best of prince". I got it down from 80 to 60, but I'm stuck. Every track is so awesome, I just want to listen to each one right now. He's just soo good, and this is mostly of his RnB side. Jeez, it's insane how good his stuff is and how much there is too. Extraordinary...

O-oh, you have to add "Bambi" to the list; there is no way anyone cannot be a fan after hearing that one! The lyrics may not be your friend's "cup of tea" but the music is great in that one and plus, the way Prince sounds, I can listen to anything he sings.
