New York City....

This is going to be an amazing week in New York City. The buzz and hum on the streets has been going on for a while now. The Big Apple welcomes Prince & The Band. It makes me smile just thinking about the electrically charged air that everyone is feeling. Right Now!!

Hopefully there'll be many excellent reports and concert reviews. But in between the shows I wonder if anyone would share their other Prince related New York City stories here. Something like street/subway stories, or eating in China Town stories and how it related to or regarded Prince etc. Because i know there's going to be alot of wild stuff going on and it would be fun to hear of fellow funkateer's adventures in New York City.

I got a small story. NYC is my hometown and I'm here on vacation and I'll be going to the show tomorrow. A couple of days after I got back here, I was headed to the subway in Manhattan when I saw a bus in front of me have an ad for the Prince concert on the side of it. I was so shocked to see his face on the side of a city bus here, I had to stare at it for a couple of minutes just to believe it. A week later, I got on a bus with the ad on it. I didn't want to get off the bus. NYC is really getting ready for da Man!

I guess if there is a show that should make it to an official DVD...
