NOt sure why Mark Brown acts like its a mystery. She has stated publically that she felt that the liner notes of PUrple Rain Deluxe excluded her on purpose and that Revolution members who were interviewed downplayed her involvement. She has also publically stated that the band took too much credit for Prince's work. One can (and will ) disagree with her on this site(and blame Prince for credits issues) , but her opinions were pretty clear. I am not sure why Mark is even asking the question, other than an attempt at reconcilliation. The Revolution is weird though because they sometimes seem very cliquey to me...maybe they just want one of their clique members back...LOL. Oddly, I would think that Andre Cymone would be more inclined to tour with them than the NPG>...I wondered about that.

She feels marginalized and now The Rev is posting a video of them playing one of the songs from her album. Without her. Yeah, that could be it.

Maybe Jill and Cat ought to room together....

BUT you have to admit, The Rev does act like they are the only ones, who are all that.

And BrownMark of all people, why don't he holler out to Eric Benet again, and see if Eric wants to join them on stage next time they are in town.

How is her complaining any different then his complaining? Did the Revolution not also have her banned from Paisley were they were performing at the park. This guy is a real loon and sad sack.

To be fair, they may have asked her to participate in a performance of that song and she declined out of anger over the other issues. And perhaps, that is what he is referring to. But I still think Mark doesn't really need to ask publically. All he needs to do is look at her facebook page.

If you remember a few threads back about that subject it was NOT the Revolution doing banning her from PP and even a mod stated that...why don't u reread that thread ....and her not being credited that much in the movie isn't their fault either it was the purple midgets say so with itand furthermore the band has stated several times in numerous interviews the purple midget had say over who got credit and who didn't(yes I do believe Lisa stated this ...she even stated they had to sign a paper saying they would not get credit for certain songs and get credit for others)...HE controlled everything down to even what they wore...maybe you should go review some of those interviews they did recently and get back to us Laura yet we get it you hate ...im sorry DESPISE the Revolution We get it but Jill has been a drama queen too if I remember correctly [Edited 12/10/17 1:37am]

Jill posted on her FB page about the Rev's posting of their video All Day All Night one day after she had been interviewed about the making of All Day All Night. Jill said it was another attempt to obliterate her entirely from the Purple Canvas. Or payback for calling them HR Puff n Stuff band. Or shade being thrown.

Who are you to refer to Prince as a "purple midget"? You are being just as petty and hateful as BrownMark was in his book with the highlights Laura posted above. Clearly, he was jealous of Prince and his accomplishments. What's your reason for the shade, toots?
