Jill said it was the Revolution who banned her. As far as I know she has not backtracked on this. I would expect she got the idea from somewhere. In additon, she has explained her other issues with the Revolution.

As for getting credit where credit is due, Prince can not control what people say or do now and when he was alive JIll didn't mince words about her issues with his control. If JIll doesn't technically get credit now that may or may not be fixable now but she also disliked how the interviews on the liner notes downplayed her...that is not the "Purple midget's" fault. You can't blame him for everything.

it was in quotation marks... thus referring to your usage of it. I would probably just not pay attention to that crack if it were in a light hearted paragraph about Prince. But you included it in a tirade against Prince's flaws as a human being. Defending the Revolution's current behavior by dragging out previous behavior of Prince's and then in later posts stating that Prince wasn't perfect...these are strawman arguments. Prince wasn't perfect, but Revolution fans will never admit they are not either. Prince wasn't always fair but that doesn't indemnify the Revolution if they are not fair now. LIke I said, Jill was upfront about her issues with Prince and he took it. I don't know if he attempted to fix those issues or not but she was alright with him in last months of his life (as a recently published interview conducted a couple months before he died proved). She has got issues with the Revolution seperate from Prince. . JIll can be irrate and a bit out there but she is not an idiot and she knows the difference between what Prince did wrong and what she believes the Revolution did wrong. I am basically neutral on their beef, but I am not going to trivialize her feelings by throwing a dead (albeit) flawed man under the bus.
