I can only do that when you tell me what you know of Larry Graham (without looking anything up) I will definately tell you the details

Are you familiar at all with LGs career?

Basically by 1996 Prince was heavily promoting and presenting LG way into 2015

very familiar with his career and his 80's solo career after Sly. didn't look anything up.

Can you tell me what is the difference between the Minneapolis Sound and Purple Music?

There is a difference, but a connection

did you mean to say there is a difference, but NOT a connection. or did you mean it

as it is typed ^^^

LG after helping bring Prince to Jehovah has a lifetime of benefiting from the Prince connection and has a trail of gravy from 1996 -2015 from Prince promoting LG projects, LG bands and Larry Graham

really?? all that Prince promoting didn't seem to make him more popular than he was in the 80's with his solo career. imo did larry put out any popular albums under P's production??

Larry had about 1 hit in the 80s. I didn't even know the connection back then.

well even Prince's own music wasn't hitting after 1996 either. But getting spotlights in Prince's band and opening for Prince and such was a lot. He got a good stretch with Prince as a result.

He did an album with Prince -collaboration in the late 90s

hmmmm does anyone else understand the bolded? There is a difference, but a connection

seems Of4s is just interested in LOL'ing and not clarity, when you could just explain what you mean.

and that sucess equates as him "especially" benefiting. i think he was more sucessful in the 80's

and more people knew who he was then than when he got with P. i think most were like

"who does Prince keep talking about when he keeps saying LarryGraham."

Yes Especially Larry Graham vs Maceo or Chaka. Especially Larry Graham.

I swear, I lived the 80s and I don't know people who knew Larry Graham on the popular scene like that. I did not know Larry until 1996 when Prince started promoting Larry...

he was pretty popular in the 80's like the clean teddy pendergrass. I was shocked that Prince was

rolling him out, when larry was the veteran funk musician. It was odd to me. but i think Prince thought

he was going unappreciated. but his aquaintance to Prince didn't up his status to me he was already

a pillar in the funk world. But i guess Prince made him aquanted to you so i guess you were the target audience. the folks who were perhaps not aquanted with the funk history makers. but

it was not "especially" for me.

um I only add lol because I was laughing at you making a bigger deal of what I was asking or stating. If you can just answer that or just say 'I don't know the difference' ...

And when I originally asked you the question[#358] there was no LOL it was a straight forward question

If you just answer that...

do i know what the Minni sound and purple music are?

seems to me your saying they are the same thing and your asking me to say

what these two things are. your wanting me to say what they both are. is that correct?

and i thought Purple Music was basically a media descriptor for Princes Music

i wasn't aware it was a genre/catagory that Prince made of his own music.

and why can't we just have the conversation, why can't you just say what you want to say

with out asking me to answer questions. what is your strategy with this sort of interplay.

When i said your post 337 was confusing, i still stand by that many posts later.

i just want to understand what your saying, but you won't just say it, why not?

You and LR were discussing it, i am simply trying to follow, yall aren't org noting it so you

must mean it for the consumption of all. so i am trying to understand. If you want to explain what

you mean that would be great.

i think most African Amerian teens knew Larry Graham the singer for sure, he wasnt

playing bass when he was trying to be the frontman.
