Obviously it’s a free country people can talk however they want. Others are free not to like it. I don’t. I think it makes her look trashy and missing a few screws. But hey if people want to keep wishing for juicy gossip from her go ahead if it makes you feel better.
What is wrong with Cat discussing things that happened when she was in the band? Did you listen to the interview she does not say anything about that time that is bad. She was actually very respectful as far any questions about her and Prince.
The other stuff is her opinion and she is entilted to it like anyone else.

It would not be the first time something like this has happened. Even the Jimi Hendrix estate set up money for one of Jimi's children in Sweden.
The Marley estate has included a couple of extra Marly spawn the public knows little about. It happens.
In addition, he could have just given Cat money to be quiet about him just in general. I would not be so quick to say she had no communication with him or knows nothing. She may know what he wanted her to know just like everyone else.
So you believe he has children out there that the public doesn’t know about and one of them is Cat’s.
I think Prince was more conservative then he let on and if he had any children out of wedlock the public would not know about it. Not to hide the child but to protect their privacy as well as the mom. He was just not about putting his private life out there.
I think if he had kids he would have set up a trust or some sort of settlement. I think he would have taken care of them just like he took care of everyone.
I kind of go with his cousin Charles who said if he had children they would not have wanted for anything because know one in their family went without.

If he fathered children out-of-wedlock when he was a young man, before he matured and evolved--or as a married man, even--he might have reasoned that finance would have to do. In that event, he might have thought that he would one day have time to make amends. |

Kinda hard to make amends to a grown child, when a parent doesn't participate in that child's life. IF of course he had a child. |

First, I'd like to eliminate Duane and his heirs from this discussion. This is about children potentially spawned by Prince.
That said, of course, the birth certificate doesn't establish parentage. But, basically, the only way a potential child of Prince could have a DNA test is if there were no father listed on the birth certificate, particularly if the father listed was married to the mother. If I'm wrong on this, I hope someone will correct me. I'm going to look back at the guidelines published by the Court just to be sure.
But, what if, Prince fathered a child with a married woman, even under common law, who named her husband as the "father" on the birth certificate???? Or, what if Prince fathered a child who was adopted, perhaps by a relative???
That's the point I'm trying to make. In these two scenarios, even if these were indeed Prince's child(ren), they would not have been eligible for genetic testing in this case and, thus, would have no legal avenue of pursuing their birthright in this intestate case of historic proportions.
That is what I'm asking: Would appealing be an option in these specific scenarios? And, if I were a potential Prince offspring in one or both of the situations I have laid out, this is the question I would be posing to the foremost experts in appellate law.
The answer is yes you can appeal but none of the individuals who were denied DNA testing appealed. |

I dont know Minnesota law but it wouldnt be longer than 60 days from the date of the Judge's decision.
The time has passed for these claimants. |

Here's the thing. The first hurdle for any potential heir(s) would have been to have the judge allow him/her/them to undergo DNA testing. That was not easy. As I said earlier, the birth certificate was the first firewall. If there was a father listed other than P, you were bounced out of there in short order. I'm sure we've all heard of cases where a woman has a child that is not her husband's or boyfriend's, but the men are none the wiser. So, the mate is listed as the father of record...and the mother takes that secret to her grave, lest her cuckolded partner send her to an early grave. Also, if you were adopted, you could not be approved for testing.
I'm not sure if this is Minnesota law or if the judge set these parameters just for this EPIC intestate case. In any event, with stakes this high, I think I would try to find an attorney who would try to appeal that ruling, assuming that/those decision(s) is/are appealable. If so, it could have the potential to be a landmark case. Perhaps there's a lawyer in the house who could shed light on this bit of Minnesota inheritance law.
—/—— —If a trust or some settlement was set up years ago and the vehicle had a clause that stated be quiet or you lose your money trust me that person is going to be quiet. Coming out into public to try and obtain their full inheritance could mean getting nothing at all.
What about after obtaining said inheritance? |

We would have to turn to an attorney to find out if a child whose mom agreeded to a settlement or trust with the clause that they never publicaly disclose the father of the child can the grown child say my mom signed that not me and I want my full inheritence.

He could have been in their lives. Look at Clint Eastwoods two younger children that the public knew nothing about until recently. He was involved in their lives he just did not marry their mom.

Yes, I belileve he could have children out there living off a trust or settlement. We know some work product was given to the probate court by his former divorce attorneys. Who if you look them up also handle parternity matters?
I know from the court docs that one of the people that was turned down for a DNA test was turned down because she had one with Prince back in 2002. Taz Walker who claimed her mother dated Prince as a teenager in Minneapolis. He agreed to the test so he must have known her mom and knew he could possibly be the father. The women was in her 20s so he did not have to agreed to a test so I doubt he would have run off if he had kids and with his money no women would let him off the hook anyway.

Most of these women do not go into the details like that you have to remember they are also telling on themselves and some are probaly married now. The only person who has gone into details was Robyn Power and that was mostly done via org notes after she got booted off this board.
Even Cat has not said anything intimate about the two of them
