Doc Funkenberry reporting a Paisley Park show this weekend I saw Dr Funkenberry post on facebook, frantically checked his site and also got an orgnote that confirms.
OMG! The last jam of 2009:
11pm this Saturday at Paisley Park -- b there! Admission is $40 at the door (cash only). Also on 4 the night: Love 4 One Another Charities will b hosting a coat drive b4 the show. Please bring new/gently used coats, gloves and scarves 2 help those around Purpletown who could use a little warmth. We r also accepting canned and boxed goods and bottled water. Ur gift of warmth is xtra cool.. c u Saturday! we will most likely have a special parking lot at hwy 212 and 101 with a shuttle bus. we will post an update sometime saturday once we know for certain. Word to anyone contemplating flying into MPLS for this: The Minneapolis-St.Paul airport is MAJORLY fucked up right now. They are doing construction on a crucial runway, leaving only one runway open. Flights going in and out are majorly delayed/canceled. I know this first hand because I was trapped in MPLS airport hell TWICE (going to/from Newark) a couple of weeks ago. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

It's ridiculous. It's been like this for months. It bugs be because it's changed flight patterns and planes are flying over my neighborhood every few minutes.  I don't understand how, when it's been this way forEVer, they wouldn't have it figured out well enough NOT to cause delays. |
