I agree about W&L. I have always thought in many ways they have has the BEST career of the lot (including Prince) in that they can keep working regardless of age from now on. It's sad but true in American pop culture- when you dare age it's all over. Scoring, writing, producing and doing what they do means a long healthy career as long as they want. It's also clear their life experiences have added up to a lot both artistically and personally. I'd wish that for anyone who is of an artistic bent. It's a tough road but they seem to be laying their own pavement:) Plus they both seem really happy, and that's the larger point, right?

That was a cool interview. They seem like 2 very cool and fun individuals. Thanks for posting Yelocloud.

...yup, it's pretty clear the hold that this man had over their hearts...and I ain't mad at it...it produced some extraordinarily beautiful compositions that I still listen to, to this day

wasn't it very obvious that they were playing the cool mysterious lesbian card with that intro to "Computer Blue"? It was so in your face, that, honestly, in the late 80's I thought it was a publicity stunt and that they were not gay, and not even a couple.

How funny to find out later that they really were a couple!

That being said, I don't like the music to Heroes at all... it's not as remarkable/emotional as the music in LOST!

I normally notice at least a little when someone is gay/bi but not with them. In 2000 I had a conversation with a collegue about them, how much I liked them and he said with a nasty face "they're gay". I didn't know at all and was surprised but mostly annoyed with the way he had said it, as if it made them less.
I think they're super and the interview is great.

Without Prince they would have never achieved the kind of fame that they have. They would have been working composers or musicians, but no where near the level that they achieved in their careers had they not been associated with and so prominantly featured by him. So, in that respect he was very generous because he could have easily had other, more talented musicians in their place.

I am not trying to take anything from them, but the fact remains that there is nothing about them that makes them stand so far ahead of the crowd of talented folks performing and composing music. However, once you add the Prince factor into their success, it makes sense.

That was a cool and interesting interview. i enjoyed reading it, its great to know more about them and their relationship with Prince. Al.though, the Lesbian comments were uncalled for and mean i think

I don't think she was into women, either. I think that was another attempt at creating controversy & getting folks tittilated with so-called "lesbian antics."

You never see her being linked to a woman now do you?
