I was finally able to download White Flags of Winter Chimneys. After only being able to hear it on my crappy work laptop up until now...its SO nice to hear on GOOD speakers. All I can say is this is, right now, my fave Wendy & Lisa album. I am a big fan of their stuff and LOVE Eroica, Girl Bros, and the 1st album (not crazy over Fruit)...but this one has an amazing flow to it. Plus it ROCKS...a full fledged ROCK album by the girls. Love it. I really hope this gets some kind of exposure outside of us hardcores.

Years later I finally got this album. It's very, very good. I don't quite like it as much as the other four W&L LPs yet, but I'm sure that's due to the complexity of the songs which will benefit from repeated listenings. I do love how "Sweet Suite (Beginning at the End)" brings the listener full circle back to the first song.
