Is something like this legal at all? I mean when you sent an email saying you dont want them to renew your subscription, changed your credit card information and stuff and you STILL get charged for another $77!?

I PHONED MY BANK AND WAS TOLD THEY CAN NOT STOP THE PAYMENT GOING THROUGH IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS CHARGED (DEBITED) HOWEVER IF YOU EMAILED THEM (LOTUSFLOWER) BEFORE THE DUE DATE VISA CAN LEGALLY CHASE PRINCE AND CO FOR THE MONEY. . Telephoned my bank (I'm in the UK, btw). It's not registered as a pending charge (yet) and they say they can't block it. However, they will dispute it and try to get the money back for me, if I am charged.
I have a copy of my "account cancellation" email (for what it's worth) and also changed my details into dummy-info quite some months ago. I'd always been disappointed that LotusFlow3r.CON had been such a damp squib, but never got sucked into the vitriol online... However, this is just all kinds of bollocks. With my family being hit by the recession/unemployment, I can't afford Prince's camp to go dicking about with my card details. I will most definitely be looking forward to what this "official statement" has to say... I love my computer... It's where all my friends live | |

I reached out to customer service. There has been zero communication from the site about what we can expect in the coming year. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT I'M PAYING FOR!
Changed my account info to prevent a charge and was still charged $77. I tried to find where I agreed to automatically re-new, but that info was nowhere to be found. I filed an official dispute with my bank, but the fact is I've been charged and I am now in danger of over draft fees. This is absurd. My hope is that we can band together and fight this. | |

It's time to take pen in hand and pay for a stamp and everyone, fan or Fam, duped or not, take the time to write a personal note or letter expressing the disappointment. (Nothing nasty except maybe 'Pha-Q', after all it's Japanese  )
Perhaps you could even send it in the form of a birthday card and ensure it's postmarked on June 7, 2010, which is a Monday so the mail will be running. Just a thought! Peace! | |
