Yeah I just got a call from my bank. They told me the charge had been attempted but failed, luckily my MasterCard is maxed out right now! (never thought I'd say that)

But they charged me even thought I removed my details from the site and sent them an email, as it says in the terms and conditions, that I was no longer interested in being a member and not to charge me ever again!

This is extrememly infuriating!

If he charged money, then he will give us something. Whatever it is. Another surprise...

Interesting ... I attempted to go to the site after seeing people "say" they were charged. My on-line account has not been billed (as yet). If it does, I pray there's somethin' happenin' this year. Tour, more music or videos or something. Thanks for the heads up that members are being charged. (I have the $ in my account so I'm not worried about NSF fees).

I warned y'all! I warned y'all repeatedly! I told y'all last year that this would happen if you did not call your credit card companies and tell them that you did not want any further charges for Lotusflow3r.com.

When y'all originally signed up and entered your credit card info, your information went to Prince's merchant account processors and it was on file with THEM. Their job is to process his site's subscriptions when they are due and that is exactly what they did.

I should just sit back and laugh at y'all like I said I would but my better nature is urging me to still try and help. If you are cool with being charged and waiting for something big to happen then go ahead and ignore the rest of this post.

If you don't want those renewal charges to stand, CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER RIGHT NOW!!! If the charge has been made, dispute it and TELL THEM that you want to do a CHARGE BACK, they will ask you why and TELL THEM WHY you were unsatisfied with your original subscription.

If the charge has not been made yet, TELL THEM that you DO NOT WANT IT TO BE CHARGED and TELL THEM WHY.

So far so good for me. The card I used last year was replaced with a new one that had a different number.

I would like to say I cannot believe they really did this; but sadly I'm not surprised. It's totally unacceptable, and that, along with the lack of follow through on the website as a whole should be grounds for a class action lawsuit or something.

For those who have yet to be charged, call your credit card company and put a fraud stop on any charges from their merchant account. That will stop further charges.

When I originally signed up, I had JUST enough money to become a member without going overdrawn with my bills... They charged me $144 which put me down to $0 in my account. Even though I eventually got reimbursed the extra $77, it took several weeks for the money to return to my account, by which time, my account had gone overdrawn, bills went unpaid paid & the bank fined me an additional $35 for exceeding my limit. So in all I still ended up paying over $100 for last years uneventful membership.

I'm even worse off financially this year, so if they charge me now, it'll be disastrous!!

Folks, stop playing the victim and take proactive measures to prevent any hardship.

I'd like to give an additional suggestion. It's time to make your voices heard. After you've settled your credit card situations and voiced your complaints to the BBB, call your local radio stations and make this travesty known. Believe me, Prince will come out of hiding.

Everyone that disagreed with the the way Tom Joyner voiced his issues with Prince, give him a call. Call Steve Harvey, Warren Ballentine, Michael Baisden or any Nationally Syndicated Radio/Talk Show. Drop an e-mail to TMZ, CJ, and any other media outlet that has the balls to broadcast this type of stuff. Believe me, Prince will come out of hiding.
