So, it's activated.

First, there's silence.

An Orb appears (kinda like "The Ring") in all it's flash and spookyness.

The music is spacy... (like an episode of X-Files.)

There's a bar that let's you know something's loading.

When mine first started, it froze on 77%. I had to restart it to complete.

When it was loaded, the same old television is there, the ticket is there, some clouds are floating by where Prince's mug used to be, and next to a small beat box are three cassettes on the ground.

They have those old labels on them, each with a different song listed.

The first one is Colorized Mind. Second is Disco Jellyfish. Third: Another Boy.

When I first played them, I could retrieve any of them at any time and replay the songs... all except Colorized Mind.

The ticket now swirls towards you when you click it, it says to sign up for updates, and you enter First Name, Last Name and Email address. This time a barcode comes up with "U R In the System" on it.

On the Television is a scene starting with a butterfly, the solar system, a guitar and keyboard, then going thru some weird city (quickly, like sporatic), ending with the symbol and more butterflies.

Then the spooky music again... and that's it.

I've been bitchin' and complaining about Prince for the past 8 years....but here I am, with 2 screens up just in case something jumps off.

Thank God it finally loaded, I swear if I listened to "Box of chocolates" again I was going to eat my socks...

I like the improved Colonized mind... upload blah! blah! blah! ... download blah! blah! blah!...

The short video reminds me of the Interactive CD-ROM experience from 1994 (shocker -- almost 15 years ago!) and when the new NPGMC.com launched in 2003. It also has that Mendacity feel to it from the music video "7."
