If you've got the money and the time you should enjoy it. The timing is bad for me otherwise I'd be there. I love Vegas, and I hear Prince puts on a decent show. Sounds like the best of both worlds.  |

That's what I'm wondering. These ticket prices are bullshit, I'm being honest here. I've been a Prince fan for over 20 years, and I'll be damned if I'm going to be paying $312.01 for a ticket to see him perform. We're not rich like you are Prince, c'mon, get a grip. Why do I owe Prince $312.00, when nothing that he has ever "given" to me has been "free", and I have had to shuck out my hard earned bucks to pay for it? Believe me, I have given Prince a TON of money over the years supporting him, buying a lot of his stuff (much of which I could not afford but bought anyway because I wanted it). I have always been nothing but grateful to Prince for the opportunities that he gave me to see him perform at Paisley Park, and no one is going to try to tell me different. And for your information, hanging out at Paisley Park was never "free" as you seem to think it was, believe me, there was a price involved, but it was worth spending, because Prince wasn't charging $312.00 per ticket like he is for the Vegas show. You say in your post, "U don't know nothing about Prince", well judging from the comments you made in your post, it sounds like you don't know him either. It's not mine or anyone else's fault if you're jealous because you've never had the chance to see Prince at Paisley Park, but to make these remarks that you are making in your post is just ridiculous. If you don't want to be around us because you're jealous, then that's fine, stay home, we don't need your negativity spoiling our good time anyway. looks like my last post didn't show up. 
i'm adding my two cents as a former citizen of las vegas. the ticket prices are a reflection of las vegas not so much prince. for the price of one depeche mode ticket in las vegas, i bought four tickets to the slc and denver concerts last year. both shows i had great floor seats. during the hit and run tour, i bought 3 front row tickets to the charlotte concert for the price of one floor seat to the vegas show. i guess what i'm trying to say is that prince can charge that kinda money in vegas because he will get it. that's how vegas is. it used to be a great place to live and see shows because everything was cheap and revolved around gambling. now, it's getting to be one of the most expensive cities to live in. that's why i left. and for what it's worth, why i won't buy tickets to either of those shows. on the positive side, realize that if prince comes closer to you in concert this year, chances are tickets will not be as expensive. hold out and be patient. it'll all work out for the best. | |
