312.01 No way.

If Prince had a tight band I might consider.

I don't consider Tamar worth 312.01. Sorry!

How do you possibly justify that amount? Even if the show is for less than 500 people...dayum...that's a lil hefty.....

Like I said in my first, post, the price that Prince is asking for his tickets is bullshit. He's alienating a lot of people like us who would love to go to Vegas (and who wouldn't for Memorial Day weekend?), but who can't because of the ridiculous asking price. Get the hint, Prince, A LOT of your fans are NOT happy with the price of your tickets.

Out of all the thousands of shows Prince has, can you honestly say that Prince has aliented his fans?

You are acting as if Prince has NEVER provided opportunities to see him live for a reasonable price. I hate to say this, but, just because you can't afford to go THIS TIME, does not make the price wrong. Furthermore, from what I understand, this is just a kickoff show, that happens to be in a very expensive venue, thus the ticket price. To those who can't afford to go, then don't go, that's life, its not the end of the world. Jeez, its like everyone is having amnesia and acting as if Prince offers high tickets prices ALL THE TIME.

I myself can't afford to go, however I'm mature enough to know my limits and know that I will just wait for the next opportunity. Why can't some of you adults do the same?

Madonna and Elton charge $250 a ticket on their last tours..... it's the trend.
U wanna see an icon in history now u gonna pay 4 their precious time.
Wanna go see a Superbowl or better yet and NBA or NHL chamionship game.... u gonna pay more than $300 per ticket easy.

All I can say is Prince betta do more than Partyman and sing along with Tamar ona song or two.

Isn't Madonna charging around $400 for some seats to her shows? I know it's around that price and up I think. I hope Prince isn't following in her footsteps and charging prices like that. I hope it is just Vegas.

No one has heard of Tamar except for Prince fans.

Madonna's prices match the opulence of her stage effects and costumes. Prince doesn't do that (not that he needs to, but he need not charge $312.01 either).

Well, judging from the comments that I have seen on this thread and on NPGMC, it kind of seems like he is alienating some of his fans. Not everyone can afford a ticket at over $300 each, only those of us who are rich and have extra money burning in our pockets.

You are acting as if Prince has NEVER provided opportunities to see him live for a reasonable price. I hate to say this, but, just because you can't afford to go THIS TIME, does not make the price wrong.

I NEVER said that Prince has never provided opportunities to see him live for a reasonable price, stop putting words into my mouth. I have willingly spent over $100 per ticket to see him perform, not just in my hometown, but in other states and at the celebrations as well.

Furthermore, from what I understand, this is just a kickoff show, that happens to be in a very expensive venue, thus the ticket price. To those who can't afford to go, then don't go, that's life, its not the end of the world. Jeez, its like everyone is having amnesia and acting as if Prince offers high tickets prices ALL THE TIME

I am well aware that the concerts are going to be at a very expensive venue. If you scroll up, you will see that I talked about it in an earlier post. I said, and I quote, "I agree that it is a Las Vegas show and that Prince can charge more money." But I still feel that the amount that he is asking is over the top.

I myself can't afford to go, however I'm mature enough to know my limits and know that I will just wait for the next opportunity. Why can't some of you adults do the same?

Just because we are disappointed in the price that Prince is asking for his Vegas tickets, it does not make us any less "adult" than you are. And to say that we are anything less than an adult for expressing our opinions is condescending and unnecessary. We have the right to express our dissatisfaction regarding the price of the concert tickets on this thread if we so desire. If you don't like what we have to say about it, don't click on this thread, don't read it, it's just as simple as that.

For $312.01 a ticket, I'd have to be sitting on the front row, right in front of Prince. I can't see paying $312.01 for a general admission ticket.

I think the fear is that the prices will be the same for the "next opportunity."

Not sure if anyone caught this or not, but the price is for 3 shows, not $312 per ticket. I am sure most of us have played at least $100 for one show before this one.

Are you sure it's 3 shows? According to the original post, it looks like it's going to be 2 shows, May 27 and May 28.
