This German Firm is Specialized in Personalization of tickets. Tickets.de

Here the Text for a Kraftwerk Concert

Tickets for the shows will exclusively be sold personalized. Personalized means, that every single ticket is bounded to one person who is mentioned by name on it. Special limitation: only 4 tickets per person may be purchased per show.
Personalization of tickets as well as the limitation of the number of purchasable tickets takes place for causes of fairness and to avoid a secondary ticket market on which tickets often are offered to excessively inflated prices. Through this special and conscious regulation of pre-sale all fans should been given the opportunity to purchase tickets at fair prices.
The official online ticket pre-sale is handled exclusively by www.kraftwerk.tickets.de. All other ticket providers offering tickets for sale are NON AUTHORIZED sellers.

Exactly!

This makes no sense. 2 tickets per person, same card and photo ID, how can a tout buy a 100 and sell them at a marked up price?

Yep, something doesn't add up there.

Regarding the limit of 2 tickets per person for the tour, it seems to me that Prince really wants as many people as possible to see this. Or perhaps he's just bored of Unique's smiling face in the front row of every gig and wants a change of scenery? lol

Oh Lol, wish I could say I was surprised but I remember Croke Park. Maybe he'll start enforcing Kate Bush/Tom Waits style ID checks to beat the touts?

Probaby not, the only way around Scalpers is to do queue on the door.... Bet it goes that way.

That's fine for the local fans, but it kinda rules out people who need to travel to the gigs. Who can afford to risk flights, hotels and days off work, just to be turned away at the door of the venue?

Same goes for selling the tickets last minute - too late to get flights/hotels except at ridiculous rates. At least we had a chance with the tickets going on sale 2 weeks in advance.

Queue at the door is bullshit - totally useless for many of us.

Yep, I'll pass if it comes to that.

Well, I say that, but the venue is only a mile and a half from the office, so I may just get too excited and run down there. lol

RIP sad

If he just dropped back to direct sale (eg MNGMC) things would be a lot simpler.

The only way he can stop scalping is to stop doing shows.

Worth a shot if you're that local anyway. I'm a couple of hundred miles away from Glasgow, the nearest venue. I can't take time off work and travel all that way on an off-chance.

Andy Allo's London gig on 4th Dec has been pulled to. Coincidence? I think not.

Yup, that's the best way - especially for small venue intimate piano only shows, which presumably have more limited appeal to the general public than his conventional gigs.

seems that touts had a large number of tickets already and thats obviously pissed him off....the only way around it is either queuing for hours to get in...which would be good for the diehards...or ticketless concerts...just pick your tickets up at the venue with the card that you used to pay for them online...

Do you have a link to this info bob?

He is looking out for the true fans so I think we should be happy about that. The sale will happen in a different way. Patience.

Did you wait in the cold for 3 hours until 6 am and were number 9 in line and have no idea if you will get a ticket when the sale will start another time sad ?

No, I did not mate, and I am sorry you had to experience that. I do not believe it was Prince's intention either, it must have been the fact that scalpers had got hold of tickets before the pre-sale that kicked this off, I believe.

Trying to stop ticket touts is fine, but do it , before you advertise to do a tour and put tickets nearly up for sale! Its up to whoever runs this system to sort it out. We the working punters get messed about again. People like me skipping work etc in the hope of seeing a bloody concert! Sort the problem out in your own time.

Surely, if the ticket agencies issued eTickets ONLY, then that would thwart the ticket touts/scalpers as there would be no literal paper tickets??? If it is done when booking airline fares, why cant it be done for booking concerts!!!!

Its not rocket science!!!!!

I dont believe it for one minute that these tickets have been delayed due to potential ticket touts

Lets face it going through TIcketmaster and other agents does allow touts to get hold of them but when clearly stipulating photo ID is needed for 1 of the 2 people with a ticket surely that is enough?

I hope queing on the door is not brought in for these gigs

The problem as I see it, is that the seller 'ticketbastds' are in on the scalping. Hence why tickets may already be in the hands of touts. Sort the seller out and the issue becomes much much smaller imo.

Ticketmaster in Germany run Seatwave. A secondary Ticketplatform. They selling Muse Tickets for 420 Euros. Regular Price is 70 Euros. So it seems that these Tickets never went to the regular sale.

was reported in a tweet that the vienna ticket office told a fan that the reason for the postponement of ticket sales was touts already selling them for thousands..

I just hope it not waiting inline again to see if yiu can get a ticket or not.

Why not do e tickets and whoever on the ticket has to have ID.

I do think he cares about the fans as we let us in press night at the electric ballroom as we waiting outside in terrible rain conditions and it was free.

Only about 109 -200 people there.

But I do wish there is a official announcement soon.
It gets so salty baby (bittersweet by Lewis Taylor)

so make an annoucement then, when it might be possible to buy the bloody tickets, a picture of a vulture does nothing for me. We are going to go from long interviews about not making enough money anymore to being a hero of the people against touts. I carnt wait!

I have little to no interest in travelling from Manchester to Birmingham/London to stand in a Queue all day in November/December, what a way to ruin your day.

To top it off Andy Allo just cancelled her Manchester show.

Agree totally- it's the ticket agencies that fuel it. Why sell your allocation on your 'regular' site, when you can sell it on your 'secondary' (i.e. touting) site for ten times the price. Most tickets don't even have the chance of being sold at face value.

Take it in-house, sell them through his website, everyone attending to have their names down and bring photo id.
