At least I'm at home in the warm, rather than queing for hours like the SOTT fiasco. I'm getting too old for this shit! lol

Yep - I thought it was too good, pre-sales, 2 weeks notice, weekend show in London and a seat!! No queuing but hey ho - watch this space I guess.

I've often been amazed at the resilience and dedication of P fans.

I was all set up with 3 laptops!

I hope all is well in the P camp.

FFS! Don't be so dramatic - ticket sales have been postponed, that's all.

You needed to set a reminder? Thats like setting a reminder on Christmas Eve for the next day......but of course, at least Santa actually shows up, unlike Prince. lol

Sometimes at work I get drawn into things and coul dhave been distracted. If all my devices suddenly go mental everyone around knows something important is happening smile

They'd all understand that I'd have to excuse myslef for 15 minutes too. It would at least be better than with the Electric Ballroom show where I had to phone up from the queue and tell them I wasn't coming back after lunch lol

RIP sad

Exactly. Theatres plan their programmes months, even years ahead. Prince must have a hard time squeezing himself in in all those cities at such short notice. Doing everything last minute doesn't always work.

I'm 99.9999% sure it's not the venues...

It can be very frustrating being a Prince fan.

I'm fucking fucked off. Thank fuck I didn't didn't tell me mum I was coming over.

At the moment it's only the ticket sale which is postponed, they are still listing the dates so let's keep our hopes up, at least for a little bit.

I hear ya but coming from this far there's other issues and the cheap(ish) flights have a window of opportunity so this might be a bridge too far. Oh well, my fault for living down here. Hopefully he'll do Sydney.

It's only a rumour but I've heard the delay is that Prince wants the best supporting acts line up possible and he's just waiting to finalise deals with -

Blue Ronda A La Turk
Timmy Mallett
Jive Bunny
Scatman
London Beat
Big Fun
Bloodhound Gang
The drummer from Def Leppard

All the above will also be playing piano only sets.

The venue told us Prince himself demanded them to stop it because he wants the sale for the whole tour to start one time and how sorry they are for us waiting in line for up to 5 hours

With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

Business as usual then! it is absolutely remarkable that tickets can't even be sold in a professional way. I can't think of one reason to postpone the on-sale time at the last minuteother than the fact he's going to pull out. The venues were booked, agencies were prepared to sell tickets, everything seemed in place.

Yes. Try finding 16 famous theatres in 16 different cities that all have a free evening available within two weeks. With a club tour, that's not a problem. If paradiso is full, you just go to the Melkweg or wait until the program is over and start at 2 am. Theatres are different.

Yeah I understand. I admire your willingness to even contemplate the trip, you are certainly more dedicated than I am.

Yeah the Vienna venue told us too the concert isn't cancelled, just the sale postponed.

Could be worse I suppose, if all the tickets were sold and Then cancel the tour, like that gig in Ireland and Prince ends up being sued.

It's looking llike more of a technical delay than a postponement imo.

Sign of the Times,

Blenheim Palace,

Cork,Ireland,

Jazz Festival,

...remember he was confirmed to Headline Glastonbury in 2014 & 2015 but reneged on those shows, and was replaced by Kasabian and The Who respectively.

im not paying £150 to watch Kasabian play piano biggrin

I think it's a sign telling us to think again before we all spunk £150 quid on a 2 hour piano medley of Nothing Compares 2 U and Condition of the Heart.
