By the way, for those of you wondering if it will be the Symbol stage again.. Leeds arena wouldn't accommodate it, because of it's unusual shape. It isnt as versatile as, say, the MEN.

Before the tickets go on sale I hope

a)they confirm the stage set-up

b) if anything will be done to stop all the touts buying and reselling the tickets

Ok, I'm assuming this means it definitely is 3rdEyeGirl only. Unless either Liv ain't in the NPG anymore, or she just hasn't been told..

It just seems odd. He hasn't ever done an arena-sized show with just 3rdEyeGirl. The last arena shows he did were at Mohegan Sun, and he brought the NPG with him for those. The largest place he played with 3rdEye last time he was in the UK was Manchester Academy, with a capacity of about 2,600. Now he's going to play a 23,000 seat arena in Manchester, and then a 13,500 seat arena only 40 miles away.. along with two other arena venues, neither of which are in London.

Interesting.

Sounds like it might be a proper set this time and not the 75 minute smash and grab witnessed at KOKO....shame I can't afford to go again

Unfortunatly I don't see them going the "peral jam" way and make the tickets personelized.
So this is going to be touts heaven.

They did manage to avoid touts at the first hit and run
(which made me qeue for 6 hours), But i don't see them setting up a system for personelized floor tickets for this tour.

Two weeks notice to sell some 50-60k tickets for upward of £65 each is a tall order, especially in times of austerity and being in the North.

I think this could backfire.

been wondering about this as well. He's got a lot of positive press from his previous shows but it's still a very tall order. He might be selling 5 quid tickets an hour before the show

my stomach is doing flips excited , definitely going to try and get tickets for Manchester.

What is the best way do you think to get tickets - the arena website, ticketmaster, gigsandtours?? or just try all of the above?

U know there ain't no other

Where are those Prices? Ticketmaster are tight lipped.

Personally I would have paid £72.20 for a full blown show...but as it is I paid £75 for 15 songs at KOKO so very, very unlikely I'll be able to afford to go to this second run of shows.

Two of which are only about 40 miles away from each other. Manchester Arena would usually sell out by drawing people from not just Manchester, but the surrounding cities. The Leeds show is going to split that audience, so I think it's less likely those shows will sell out.

You may be right, but he struggled with similar for The Gold Tour.

Interesting, several of the real die hard fan I know (They did Electric Ballroom, Shepherds, The Guardian, Koko, Ronnies and Manchester) have already ruled themselves out of most of these due to price. I few are thinking of going to one, but not all.

The pricing has surprised me, I think they may have over estimated how much people are willing to pay for an arena gig, the academy was a very limited supply (around 2000 upfront tickets) for 2 nights, to see Prince at a small venue is a unique experience, especially outside of London in the UK, so people were willing to pay for that rarity.

To price a ticket where you could be in the upper tiers at quite a distance and expected to pay £75 for the pleasure is going to test the sales and how much the casual fan is willing to pay.

The UK again?!? You guys are so lucky!

It's been a decade since Prince has played the fourth-largest city in the United States of America.

Well, y'all have fun, and never forget how lucky you are!
