I'd be surprised if it's the same show again - seems odd to do uk gigs and then, 3 months later, start a tour in the UK with the same stuff. Having said that if the gig was a carbon copy of Shep bush or Msnchester which I read fantastic things about then I'd be happy.

I'm standing again but I'll be blowed of I'm queuing 12hrs again

It's called hit and run part 2. It's not a new tour it's a continuation.

I did think that but I wondered why they'd pick up in the same place they left off...plus there was emphasis on them rehearsing in mpls

Just seen a small TV spot for the shows on TV! smile 1999 was being played over the top. Could mislead people into expecting a regular hits show.

I wonder if he's obliged to play 1999 now its in the advert under the trades description act hehehe, maybe we should club together and run a TV ad playing the songs we'd like to hear ... some Dirty Mind stuff he'd never play again smile

Hi
I have two spare tickets available for Manchester on Friday 16th.
They are good seats and are £135 each face value inc booking fees.
Our friends unable to go now, so looking for two genuine Prince fans to take them up.
Not looking for any profit on them, just looking to recoup the face value.
Please private message me if interested.

Thanks

I just got my tickets for Monday - they state on them that ID may be checked on entry - this would suggest that buying tickets from the secondary market runs the risk of being refused entry.

I'm thinking of picking up a less than face value ticket for Thursday from the tout web sites - anyone ever been refused entry @ LG Arena with a ticket bought on the secondary market?

.

I know at the Manchester Arena, people who queued and bought tickets from there, they wasnt allowed to pay by cash, had to be card only, which would suggest they might ask for ID, but could just be a deterrant.

Feeling worse and worse about paying full whack for my tickets neutral It's the fact that all these sites start slapping 'sold out' over everything, makes you panic. Ah well.

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

Is it possible to make this ticket into an e-ticket, download ticket?

When I bought the ticket online with Ticketmaster uk I chose the option of post shipping, however turns out they don´t ship to me which is weird. I am in Norway, it says this on the order status:

Your tickets will be held at the venue collection point. Please see the relevant venue page for more details. You will need your booking reference number and the credit card used to make the booking to collect your tickets.

I made a promise not to check the org once I had purchased my tickets. I was a true Prince fan there armed at 12pm last Friday and I thought I got good tickets. I know you guys are fed up with this conversation but now that I know tickets are available closer to the stage one week after I frantically bought them - I have been really down. It's totally unfair for real fans who belieive that the earlier you get tickets the better the view. I think something must be done about this process but what can we do?

At least you know you're going, that's got to be the main thing right? I mean if you wanted near the stage you could always get standing and queue for 11 hours like in February. This is much better...you know where, how much and when you're going and you know he will (probably) give a decent length show

I have tickets to manchester passed onto me by someone else, how can they refuse entry to anyone with a ticket they didn't buy themselves? What about people who buy tickets as presents for others or people who buy tickets in cards for folk who then pay them cash cuz they don't have credit cards? I'm going alone to glasgow with a ticket my husband bought for me on his card.

they don't normally do anything as checking tickets against ID takes a lot longer. even at the last manc shows they only did spot checks. and emailed everyone in advance to state they needed ID. they haven't dont that this time. imagine how long it would take to get everyone in if they had to do that, especially considering the delays caused by dealing with people who don't have the ID

do you have standing or seating for manc, and are you going to show 1 or 2 or both? i'm going to both (plus brum and leeds and of course glasgow)

when they did request the ID people could get letters from the cardholder with certain details on, which pretty much made the whole ideaa pointless really

Your name is printed on the fast ticket I got from Ticketmaster, I think its just incase anyone tries to use the tickets twice, as these can be etickets, they could be printed/photocopied more than once, whereas a 'real' ticket in the older gigs could not be easily coipied.

So when the barcode is scanned, ifs its already been used you can prove your ID against the ticket name, I guess that only works for seated tickets as they can just goto the seat and ask to show ID to prove its your ticket, standing area you will just be denied entry if tickets have already been used I guess?

Tickets have arrived and cannot contain my excitement! Currently going through all my DVDs 'I would die 4 you & Baby I'm a star' always a favourite from the Purple rain 20th anniversary DVD. Great 25 min workout! Sign of the Times DVD - would give anything to see him do this concert again. Had tickets but he cancelled! Live at the Alladin- 1+1+1=3!!!!!! Dream would be to hear him play a funky Sign of the Times version of 'Forever in my life' Or Forever in my life version from Small Club after show CD - 4 more sleeps to go!!!!!!!!! I have always got shit tickets but always managed to enjoy it and come away buzzing and that's the main thing!

Just saw that! Aaah hope so, but damn I have already got my golden circle ticket to Amsterdam, still have one for Birmingham but can't go to Birmingham. Figured I could only attend one gig, two or three is too expensive for one who has to travel from Norway to see Prince. Planning anything when prince announces gigs is really hard lol! biggrin

Is there actualy any demand for 3 London shows? Just looked at seetickets and the only show that is sold out now is Leeds. The others still have tickets for every section- even standing available at all dates too.

How he can't sell out even one show in Scotland is beyond me. Are Arena shows too big for Prince now?

Are there any Pit tickets for any of these events in the UK?

Or is it as it was in the old days - come early and get a wristband?

Yes. There is 8 million people in London. You also have lots of fans from other countries living here. I don't think it's a stretch to sell these out, slightly less tickets to sell than the 2 Manchester gigs.

Wembley - 12,500
Albert Hall - 5,272
O2 - 20,000

Hoping this happens!
