Printable Anyone got any thoughts on aftershows? I'm going to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds,  I've never been to any of these cities before. Don't suppose anyone has got some ideas on possible aftershow venues? | |

I'm trying to decide whether to splash out on an extra night in a Hotel and see him twice in Manchester. Going with friends on Friday but have also been gifted an upper tier ticket for the Saturday... it is tempting... I went to one organised back in Manchester the last time he played but P never showed. So Albert hall just announced shows then Tweeted No Prince, . Pretty low for Promoters to piggy back on the back of other Promoters events to generate publicity for theirs.

3eg have never done aftershows and due to the timings and logistics it seems very unlikley they will fit any in with the travelling and packing etc involved. plus most of the aftershows he's done in the last few years were announced in advance and tickets onsale online
also during the o2 they announced that prince was unlikely to attend aftershows if there was a main show the following day. and on the same day of that announcement he played a show and there was a main show the next day
one of my tickets said doors at 6pm and show at 8pm so maybe he will play a long set instead, like SBE and the last manchester shows | |

Anyone Seated the Saturday night in Manchester meeting up for Pre show drinks? Quite a few bars close by In the Printworks or Northern Quarter. . . A Tip for the Friday if anyone is going down, Tiger Tiger in the Printworks do half price food and drinks until 9pm so very cheap! . . [Edited 5/13/14 4:14am] | |

great spot for a meet up as it's under cover & a very short walk to the arena. Will have wife & kids on Saturday though but might still pop in!. Are u there Friday, we are in town all day so meet earlier if poss! | |

. Yeah just across the road so easy for people. . The friday i'm working until around 1pm and have to get from Altrincham to the other side of manchester to get changed and back into town so its probably not going to be until around 5/6 when I get down so I dont think I'd be able to get any drinks in on the Friday. Think i'll just join the queue with a couple of cans in a brown paper bag .

Thank you to the two of you who responded to my earlier post. Sorry can't find them as currently on train with a blackberry phone and low battery without any sockets. My whole trip is funded by my credit card but he's worth every penny! So excited about tonight! Attending Saturday in Manchester and Leeds next week! I'll be one of the twits in purple in the seated area! Curfew in large arenas in generally 2300 but that usually means the building has to be cleared by that time so at a guess it'll finish around 2230 but I be wrong. See you there maybe. ! | |

Who wants a free ticket for tonight? A standing ticket.That's right. Absolutely free. My friend was coming but flaked on me so would rather give it away than throw it away. But I do want to give it to someone who doesn't already have a ticket. In other words pls dont get in touch if u already have a seated tkt and just wanna trade up. I only live 45 mins away from the lg arena by train but am seeing him both nights in Manchester thanks to a friend... Id love to do this! But there are people who deserve this far more.
