Dr Funkenberry tweet hinting @ London shows O2, Albert Hall, & Wembley Arena

And those rumours came from a 3EG tweet which originated from a fan made image..why would he do 3 large venues in one place...don't believe all you read!

I think London had its fill in Feb...isn't that the point of this 2nd leg of the tour?

What time are standing people heading to the shows? Birmingham venue car park doesn't open until 4pm so thinking of going there about 5pm?

I'm personally glad that tickets are now selling at below face value. I only bought tickets to Manchester based on the price (which has to factor in travel, hotels etc...) and now I'm really hoping to pick up a bargain for Leeds (my nearest venue) or even Birmingham. I'm so excited at the prospect of going to more than one show. The fans might actually do alright out of this one biggrin

Dont know much about how these things work but wouldn't it have been 'kinder' so have a lower face value to begin with - it seems they've been adamant to get this magic £70 figure per ticket since the first leg

Well, he's doing 2 nights in a 23,000 seat arena in Manchester. That's more tickets than Wembley, the O2 and the RAH put together.

Having said that, they haven't sold out.. which I'm sure is due to the ridiculous prices.

He basically sold out 21 Nights in London, but only because most tickets were about £30. Not many people are willing to fork out £70+ for a show these days, especially up north.

.

London will already be planned just may not have signed contracts and things yet or still in negotiation with one of two venues so cannot put out the dates/advertise, these regional ones will have been planned since before the first lot of Hit & Run, that first lot no doubt more of a promotional set of gigs planting seeds and getting reviews into papers to gauge if they were worth doing, will have made very little cash from them (In the grand scheme) so made no sense for them to just come and do the one lot of shows randomly without it being part of a bigger picture.

.

Pretty sure london dates will be announced... Eventually biggrin

Need some Brixton academy please Prince. Didn't they hint at that back in Feb? If they can't do that, then a show in my living room would probably be acceptable.

RIP sad

I'm seeing P for the first time on the 16th in Manchester (standing)! I haven't had the opportunity before now cos I'm only 19. How early do I have to be to get to the front?

I completely agree but I'm just really pleased that the tickets are not selling at 2x, 3x, or even 4x their face value. It means that for me (and hopefully other fans) there is a very real chance of attending more concerts than I could have dreamt of at the original (overinflated in my opinion) price.

Maybe, one day, in my dreams, there will be a way of making sure that just the people that actually want to attend these events get the tickets, and at a price everyone is happy with, but, for now, its about making the best of an imperfect situation.

Just speculating, but I don't think the Rumours about the Hyde Park shows a while back were far off, I heard they may have fallen through, Eminem planned to play there but that also fell through so he has ended up playing Wembely stadium instead.

.

If they are still looking at Hyde Park it could be that its taking longer to confirm, as there is alot more planning involved with outdoor shows, like permits, security and everything else. When our company arranges ot door shows, takes between 4-6 months planning to get everything in place.

.

Or they are just looking at an alternative still?

.

Speculation as always with Prince haha Who knows!

Yeah manchester was tickets and people still got down early, I was there about 2pm and was about number 70 or something in the queue it actually didnt get too long till later on, wasnt so bad though people could just show their face and go sit in the pub for a bit then go back aslong as people didnt take the mick did that a couple of times pretty easy going.

.

Im really not fussed this time, I think I might head towards where the sound engineer guys are towards the back, best sound usually there, and because im a short arse unless im in the first few rows it's pointless anyway haha.

Take this how you like, but I know the guy from Albert hall had a big meeting in London while Prince was here last!

The Albert Hall Manchester just tweeted - Tomorrow we have some some very special news, Stay tuned we're about to go Crazy!

I'll be a little miffed if they announce a show there Sunday when I'd have preferred it there! :-/

There's no set answer to this Highcool .. P fans tend to be verrry determined so even if an event is ticketed everyone wants to be at the front. Also if a lot of people have travelled from abroad they're only there for the show anyway so they tend to queue early. It depends if there's a lot of hysteria around it .. So get there as early as you can, you'll meet loads of cool people in the queue and time will move quicker than you expected. You're going to have a blast! biggrin

doubt it. the band will be tired and jetlagged. they will likely spend time soundchecking and rehearsing in birmingham if anything

Considering pretty much everyone going to these shows will already have tickets, I think they'll generally arrive later than they did to most of the February gigs when entry wasn't guaranteed. A few people will be there really early, but the Phones4U arena is huge (largest of its type in Europe) - 100 people would only take up the first 2 or 3 rows.

Most people will arrive after doors open, and a lot of them go straight to the bar.

I'd say arriving 4 - 4:30pm you'd be in with a pretty good chance of being near the front.
