I think we won't hear anything until at least Thurs as the Brits is tomorrow so they'll do that before announcing anything me thinks. I'm happy to get in town to meet anyone who is feeling lonely, I'm staying in droylsden so not far from town only 10 mins...

i'm expecting news on Friday, Thursday would be a huge bonus!

just a question...if its announced on friday, the venue...where will all the people go that are planning on getting to the venue at like half 9 in the morning? If it hasnt been announced by then?

Or are we all meeting at some designated place then heading to the venue?

good question, would be great if some orgers can meet around deansgate & then all await news..then peg it to the venue. Biggest fear is that theres a lot of hype in the n.west so a lot of casuals are heading to the gigs too!.Really am dreadin the thought of queing for upto 10 hours though!!!

I don't think anyone but me is planning on getting there that early If everyones in Manchester around 11-12 and nothing has been announced , then we should all definitely meet up somewhere and stare at twitter together! If nothing is announced on the Thursday then i'll be up and dressed for 8:00am so I can leave literally as soon as it's announced on twitter.

However, there's a few venues such as Victoria Warehouse and Antwerp Mansion that are a bit further afield than the city centre, so if anyones driving we could give each other lifts if it's at such a venue.

Hi all - would be very cool to hang around with a few org folk while we wait for news - I'm travelling down from Newcastle on Friday morning, hotel booked for friday night, waterproofs and boots at the ready for a couple of days queuing! Will be staying at Picadilly Gardens so nice and central.Too damn excited for words, dunno how I'm going to get thru the next 2 days at work!

The lost dene is near the Albert Hall. Cheapish pub, serves food etc.

sounds like a great idea, i won't be able to land until 12ish as I have to pick someone up & then check into hotel!, suspect pub might be tight for me on Friday but Saturday will be more viable.

Not sure he will, I dont know if he will have alot to say, I think maybe him doing first award might either indicate a performance later in the night on the show, or he might possibly do some sort of "aftershow" Im sure they would want to capitalize on the current popularity, what would be better than getting all the celebs attending the brits to a show to then tweet about it after?
